The New Interface System beta update

Jagex said he’ve made an update to the New Interface System beta today. It has an range of
improvements based on your feedback and can now also be played using either the HTML5 or Java game clients. As before, it is open to all players.
It will however give you the opportunity to try out the new system, get acquainted with the extra features and give him your feedback ahead of full launch next week. If you’ve not seen it yet, the NIS includes a full layout customisation, player-made presets, resizable (enlargable!) mini-map, transparency controls, global audio mute, key binding, separable chat streams and two quick-inventory slots on the action bar. In response to your feedback he’ve also altered how the menu bar works to make it more like the current interface, he’ve made interface borders invisible when locked in slim mode, added a minimize button to the action bar, put added an options button to the menu bar and also allowed the menu bar & action bar to be dynamically resized… phew!
The betas can be accessed through the “RuneScape Beta” button on the main RuneScape homepage.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned as we learn more about the game!
